Day 55: Back on Track

I just want to start out by saying I am lame... and I am not proud of it...
I am lame because I skipped a whole fifty days of updating this blog... mainly because I had a few bad sessions, and it was discouraging to post consecutive losing sessions, so I just stopped.
It is understandable that bad swings are common in poker, but I have no excuse for stopping doing the things that were within my control (push ups and sit ups).
I have no excuse for my lack of discipline. I deserve a good criticism, at least from myself, for this. It just shows that I have a lot to learn and improve on if I want to be successful in life.
Now that that has been said, on a more positive note, I am still on pace to meet my goal for 1000 in 100 days. Here's a brief summary of what had gone on in the past 50 days.
After the first week of pokering and following the program I had set up for myself, I had gone nowhere. The 10 dollar SNGs seem to be hours of wasted time, so were the heads up... I pretty much broke even or made pocket change from them.
I turned to cash games and profited a lot from that, but ran into a few big losing days (around -100 to -200 are big losing days for me). This resulted in time-off from poker, then start again with SNGs, then lose in SNGs, then go back to cash.... that cycle repeated for about 3 weeks, and I managed to cash out a total of about 400 in the process, but my bankroll was still low around 450.
Around Mid June, because I had a light finals schedule, only had final papers to write and didt have to study much... I went back into high gear playing some solid poker... started to catch on to a winning formula in .25/.50 6max cash games two tabling.
I ran my bankroll up to around 650 around with 450 sitting in firepay by the time finals week was over. I deposit the 450 back into Stars to take advantage of the reload bonus.
Over the one week break I hybernated at home and grinded it out, playing 20 dollar SNGs in the morning and night, and cash games in the middle of the day. This formula has been the most successful formula for me so far. I didnt make much with the SNGs, but made a reasonable amount playing .25/.50 cash games. I should just stop playing SNGs alltogether, but for some sentimental reason I keep playing them.
As of now I am comfortable with .25/.50 6max, 3 tabling ...working on 4 tabling. With the new Stars beta skin I am able to do this, so I am workign on my game.
My current BR is 1720 right now, with no reserve in firepay or neteller. My goal was to cash out 1000, and increase my BR by 1000. Since I started out with 450, I need to reach 2450 by the 100th day in order to meet my goal.
I am takign summer school right now, but I will try to play poker at least 3 hours a day. I will keep everyone updated, but not everyday. Wish me luck!
